
Jay Ginsberg, MD
President
Jay Ginsberg graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with his MD in 1977. Following an internal medicine residency, he completed a fellowship in nephrology at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University in 1982. He then began a nephrology practice in Southeastern Connecticut, which has now grown to 7 providers. Dr. Ginsberg has served as chairman of the department of Nephrology at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London and Backus Hospital in Norwich. In addition, he has been medical director of two dialysis units, one in New London and one in Norwich. In 2012 Dr. Ginsberg earned a Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Ginsberg is known in the nephrology community as an expert in quality improvement and patient advocacy. He has held several leadership roles within the Network system, which is a group of government contractors dedicated to improving the lives of kidney patients.
Dr. Ginsberg has served as an invited speaker at numerous national and regional quality meetings including QualityNet, the CMS sponsored national medical quality meeting.
Dr. Ginsberg has also been active in organized medicine with leadership roles in the New London County Medical Association and the Connecticut State Medical Association.

After graduating cum laude from Columbia University and the New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Paggioli trained in anesthesiology at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. His first fellowship was in medical and behavioral pain medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
His second fellowship was in interventional pain treatment at the Texas Tech University Medical Center under Dr. Gabor Racz, known throughout the world for his innovations in pain treatment, including invention of the Racz catheter for lysis of epidural adhesions, and the Racz-Finch radiofrequency probes. Dr. Paggioli is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain management, and presently serves as President of the New London County Medical Association and has served as President of the Connecticut Pain Society.
